We've made cider & perry in our old cider barn for many years - until 2013 just for ourselves and friends. In May 2013 we entered the Hereford Cider & Perry International Competition - the first competition we've ever entered. Our dry cider won first prize, beating over 40 other producers. So we decided to start selling small batches to those he might also appreciate the delights of Herefordshire craft made cider & perry. Our farmhouse cider & perry is made only from the juice of traditional cider apples and perry pears from our own and local orchards. Fermentated and matured in ex-brandy, rum and whisky oak barrels using only the natural yeasts present on the fruit, it's a slow process, and the product is ready when it's ready - it can't be hurried. Presently, we have very limited supplies of 500ml bottles from the 2012 season left to sell to new customers - contact us to enquire about availability.
